@nuewbii I have been playing teach since op09. I have accepted traveling to tournaments knowing there are 1 or 2 decks where I will have sub 40% wr and many where I will have over 70%. But it isn't fun sometimes

I’m not usually one to criticize other people’s content because I think it’s wrong and in bad taste, but this feels like a mockery of all the metafy creators who invest so much of their time to create high-quality content. If I can give you some advice that might save you from making a bad impression, refund the money and delete the “guide”.

@BantisGeorgios Most good decks at this point can output sufficent pressure going second to beat imu without never existed. Going first would need to be tested

@brokenballl Imo even with never existed gone Imu will still gatekeep most of the decks. Playing your boss monster for 4 then proceed to gain so many different effects from them and have 6 dons is overturned . Not to mention Imu goes +1 hand size. Bandai is notorious for hitting stages

I don't get why people make such a complicated deal for nerfing or banning Imu. Banning never existed is a very clean way to make the deck a lot more balanced and less consitent, no need to make it funky and ban stage or some shit.

@brokenballl or just ban mars and print a garling card, mars is a card that a lot of people are ignoring, but it's the reason imu beats so many decks

@brokenballl Yeah, and I don't see them dominating fighting games at all, especially since they stumbled at launch and have to compete with other tag fighters dropping soon, made by more established studios, using more popular IPs, and apparently with a significantly larger budget.

Riot wanting to make a game with casual appeal, but instead making a niche for hyper competitive game, which does vibe with people but doesn't make the game sustainable. Have I seen this before?

the timing and the half honesty doesn't do anyone favors. With LoR atleast most competitive people had already realised when the writing was on the wall. But seeing similar stuff happen on a new game is baffling

Also not sure who decided to green light this announcement. If you are going with "honesty is best policy" and be public about the downsize, atleast go all the way with the honesty. Why give space for interpretation on what the goal of 2xko is?

@isotera_ I will give it atleast 2 years, but it depends if they are happy enough just having a foot in fighting games. It's all about the objective, Riot seems to want to dominate game spaces and not just be part of them
