I am currently talking to two sources I really respect. They are both telling me that Trump is backing away from the deal with Iran, likely under extreme internal pressure (i.e. Israel and its domestic allies in the US). This is a terrifying turn of events.

This is utterly fucking pathetic, no one would be trying this hard to sell it if it was actually a solid deal. Good deals don’t have to be sold, they’re obvious, -At best we’re simply buying their HEU back, that’s the big win? They give up their HEU & we pay the regime to do so. -We were told that Iran doesn’t have the ability to close the Strait, but we’re negotiating so it’s open. -It doesn’t bring any actual relief to American families when the distress was caused by the actions that he took. It doesn’t have any security for the country since the deal isn’t being ratified by either side, it’s just useless words. -Who cares about other deals, we’re going to be providing a terrorist regime money for them to do something, that’s not a win by any metric.

As usual for a Democrat, Kaine wasn’t looking for solutions. He was hunting a viral clip. America’s sailors don’t need more grandstanding senators lecturing about cafeteria lines and broken heads. They need real reform: faster shipyard repairs, honest budgets, ruthless focus on lethality, and leadership that treats readiness like the life-or-death priority it is — not a political prop. Our Navy is the cornerstone of American power projection. When warships can’t reliably feed their crews or maintain basic sanitation, it’s not just embarrassing — it’s a flashing red warning for national security. The sailors deserve far better than the Senate show trials. They deserve a fleet that’s ready to deter — and win — wars. Who else is wide awake at 4am? Most of my life I was an insomniac. It runs in my family. Me, my Mother and my Sister would be awake at 2am watching movies just hanging out on the couches in the great room as if it was what everyone did. It was just my normal. I lived my life that way until right around the age of 56-57 ish. As I started to get older, I all of a sudden found myself incorporating a little daily nap and didn't think much about it. Now, at 59 heading towards my 60th this year, my daily nap is no longer just a nap but a deep sleep that lasts for about 4-5 hours that takes me right into that 3-4am wide awake and ready to start the day time that I find myself stuck in. If it's happening to me, it must be happening to others too. So, are you wide awake with me at 4am?
