The Zak Butters abuse standoff. Butters is adamant he said nothing, umpire Foote has told the AFL what he believes was said but they will go over it with him again today before deciding on next steps. How could the umpire call “play on” there when he hadn’t finished his kick? Because you’re allowed to run in an arc when kicking for goal as long as it’s over the mark. Seems he called it early. #AFLCrowsFreo

He has the potential to be Wayne Carey-esk. These guys are one in a generation type players. There are lots of small forwards like Murphy Reid.
