@BigChermiti9 @HamillAF I could never support an all Ireland team, I’m not going to match to potentially end up standing beside someone who idolises the IRA. Just look at the recent pub footage of Irish fans that RTE was playing on TV, they had to cut the footage when the IRA chants started.

@browneindo @MRodden I'd take Parrotts path every day of the week. Parrott has taken development moves to become a better footballer, as a result he's going to get a big move this summer and will be earning considerably more than Idah.

Luck and injuries play a part but a huge problem with the Irish men's football team is too many players spending far too long in the second tier of English football. More need to follow Troy Parrott's lead.

@browneindo True but so do people from other countries who go elsewhere. All sorts of factors involved+every case different. Troy likely a better player+maybe made more money earlier but he'll be earning more than AI next season. AI tried Celtic in fairness to him. Thanks for the feedback!

@thejournal_ie There seems to be a perverse delight at seeing the US predicament. The US is incalculably better than the regime in Iran which killed tens of thousands of its own people. Ireland should help the US here - not necessarily militarily but perhaps diplomatically

Arsenal are the 2nd highest scorers in the league, 3 behind City.. but they're boring.. right

@ThurgzFTBL It’s that narrative of low blocks which is overplayed, in my opinion. The way arsenal build up from the back is so slow, that it gives every team so much time to get in position. They’re a great team, I just find it so painful to watch as it is boring.

There is just absolutely no way anyone, including Arsenal fans, find this style of football entertaining. Absolutely drains the energy out of 90% of matches. Painful.
