Learning often means getting comfortable being uncomfortable. But it still can be fun - “For some reason, people believed that it was only real learning if it was boring, difficult, and unpleasant. For Dante, the best learning had always been when he was having fun.”

Staring them in the eye means we have to acknowledge to ourselves & others that we make mistakes. Taking them down requires getting everyone comfortable to talk about what is really there and then learning to do better.

Love this quote from my current fiction read (Cycle of Galand). “"Leadership isn't about pretending your mistakes don't exist," she said. "It's about staring them in the eye. And taking them down."”
