Hasten slowly. Don’t yearn for moments to be over quickly, but savour their uniqueness in our life’s journey. There is a time for all things, enjoy them all.
So excited to share with my students that we had 3 out of the 5 MANSW entries win the state maths investigation competition! First year this school has entered the competition. So happy for the students! @brucecarr11@MathsNSW@AISNSW@SharonPortlock@NadiaWalker_edu@NDenniss
@luke_carr7 Good luck Brother, as varied as our students, each mentor must identify the strengths of each beginning teacher and assist them develop their gifts while leaving unproductive practices behind.
Teachers: How do you approach your role as a mentor for beginning teachers or Prac students? Is there a whole school approach to mentoring? Training for mentors? Support in place?
"Learning Intentions aren't daily and kids need time to practice. Bigger Learning intentions along with success criteria help kids become more engaged and progress in their learning." @bloomberg_paul

Back to school! I’m teaching English at St Mary’s Cathedral this week. Just finished a Year 12 class on TSEliot - love it. Once you learn how to ride a horse you don’t forget. Teaching is a great profession and teachers need our support and encouragement.
Extremely grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with @gavhays@JeffPhilllips11 and many thoughtful educators in Parramatta NSW for the last 2 weeks. Amazing experience. Thank you @mmcdowell13 for continuing to challenge our thinking!
