@LFordTravis @TSN Fernandez is hardly a no name, but I do share your frustration with @TSN_Sports. 1. If they are going to feature Canadians, then hire someone to provide commentary. 2. What happened to the ESPN feed on TSN 2 or 3?

@Canmore112 @TSN_Sports Couldn’t agree more. What’s up with the lack of commentary? Unwilling to license the English language feed @TSNTennis? Additionally not airing doubles on tsn+ when we’ve got men’s and women’s teams competing. Why get the rights for tennis if you don’t really want to air it?

I’m not a fan of your Stadium Experience for our Canadian Tennis Stars with no commentary?? What gives @TSN_Sports to cheap!! Very Very Poor. Your coverage of Tennis is at an all time low.

@doxtdatorb @TG2Chat Although non curricular tasks are an aspect @pgliljedahl’s book, I think it is an unfair characterization to say they are at the centre. Asking students to be thinkers is at the core.

I’m looking for some good reads about how math curriculum came to take its current shape, the trend in math teaching towards puzzles, and critical pedagogy and math.

@joshuaginter @thesweetsetup I understand during betas, messages did disappear (and come back at the set reminder time). I wish this behaviour was at least an option. Without leaving the inbox, it’s not really snooze (or a feature comparable to other apps—unfortunately). Was hoping I was missing the obvious.

@bryanhughes @thesweetsetup Right, then for sure they’re different. These don’t leave the inbox. I’ve always felt Inbox Zero with a gazillion emails snoozed is cheating, but that’s just me.

@joshuaginter Just read your post on @thesweetsetup about new Mail features in iOS 16. I agree, snooze is table stakes… but am I missing something? “Email Reminders” doesn’t seem to act like snooze in other apps—messages are marked for reminder, but don’t leave the inbox.

Someone recently asked me one thing I look for when I visit schools, walk through halls, and watch teachers do what they do best. My answer? Curiosity. ✅ curious kids ✅ teachers planning for curiosity ✅ teachers modelling curiosity ✅ teacher being curious themselves

@cdelacruz314 @pgliljedahl I teach Humanities and took away tons from my district’s book study (ably led by @cafedepruner). I think districts should buy the book for all disciplines—the fundamentals are universal. @pgliljedahl may have done himself a disservice with “Math” in the title, scaring some away.

Totally agreed!! My district bought every math teacher a book and @pgliljedahl provided us a workshop. Since the workshop, I have been running around schools to help teachers plan and get started. They are ecstatic to implement BTC!
