@MOrcmisha @BenK_Data Your house is part of your net worth so you are by definition rich
English

@BenK_Data You legitimately don’t have to be rich to own a high priced house today: you could have bought it 30 years ago and it appreciated
English

So insanely rich you own a house that has 33k a year in taxes.
So insanely entitled you cry about having to pay your share of the taxes when you're filthy rich.
Jeremy@jeremyct
my dad paid $1,200 a year in property taxes in 1999 same house today $33,000 a year that’s $2,750 a month just to stay in a house you already own you never actually own anything you just rent it from the government forever
English

@CorbinSmithNFL Yeah photoshop sharpening uses ai now so the really blurry parts of the picture it can get a little creative lol
English

Uhhh... I sharpened them with Photoshop. I'm not a professional photographer.
Dr. Blueberry@DrBlueBerry99
@CorbinSmithNFL Uhhh why do these look like AI slop?
English

@tenobrus Eh I feel like their .5 models tend to be way better than their .0 models so I’m hoping that’s the case again
English

it's gotta be Gemini 4 man. google needs to come out swinging here
ibo@ibocodes
may 2026 is coming
English

@Trace_Cohen I don’t understand why they can’t just rent it out
English

@jxnlco They would somehow be an improvement in that department
English

@evrgn11112231 Open source probably not far. Locally a long time
English

Tech people smarter than me:
How realistic is it that in the reasonably near future we get an open source model frozen in time around current Opus levels capable of running a harness locally on your desktop that feels like running Claude Code with a max plan?
What are the barriers to this over 3-5-10 years?
English

@MatMilbury @KevinNaughtonJr Agreed. And the problem with that is a device like that would be practically useless right now because for a glasses form factor to be useful it has to have fantastic predictive ai and we can’t fit hardware for that in glasses
English

@KevinNaughtonJr I'd be somewhat ok with smart glasses if they were made like computers in 2000s: we sell you the hardware, you're welcome to install privacy preserving OS like Linux.
The same should be true for glasses - my device, my software, my data.
English

i really hate that society's convinced the next leap in computing should be in the form factor of glasses
> i don't wanna wear glasses 24/7
> imaging a future where every person is wearing glasses feels extremely weird and dystopian
> seeing people tweak in the middle of conversations and repeatedly glance down and right somehow feels worse than someone just straight up pulling out their phone
i have yet to see a truly net positive experience with anything resembling smart glasses and i think humans will sooner mass adopt technology like neuralink than some intermediary form factor like glasses
AnhPhu Nguyen@AnhPhuNguyen1
with Mira, AI can now live on your face. capture every conversation. create the most personalized form of AI ever. order now.
English

@jonathangrahl I know. Drives me crazy. Opus 4.5,6 dint live comments like that so much.
English

@AnhPhuNguyen1 This is so cool! How are you dealing with privacy and security? Seems like a landline
English

@VectorWang2 This right here is how I think this should be done
English

Building up a mini Tidybot for <$2k in total.
More dynamic (realtime no speed up) and more robust
Plugged into upcoming X-bot universe with OpenClaw agentic applications.
github.com/TidyBot-Servic…
English

@tenobrus @morallawwithin Plus you don’t have to agonize over your end while you wait for the results
English

@morallawwithin i voted red. i don't feel very strongly about this one, unfortunately very very very high chance 100% of the population dies. i think if i thought it would be close i would probably vote blue and try to grab a slot... but I don't, so might as well negligibly contribute 🤷
English

@BarclayDavidP @jasonc_nc Scale and also quality. The soybeans that go to cows are not fit for human consumption
English

@jasonc_nc How is it possible that feeding a cow soy/alfalfa/forage/antibiotics/supplements is cheaper than blending some soybeans? Cows are crazy inefficient.
English

Hi. Restaurant and coffee shop owner here.
Almond milk runs 2.2x the cost of whole milk.
Oat milk is 2.4x, macadamia is 4x and soy is ~2x.
We charge more because it costs us more, not because all of us are engaged in a rightwing plot against people who prefer alternatives.
Daniel Aldana Cohen@aldatweets
It’s just incredibly rightwing and wrong. And while we’re at it, oat milk tastes good. But compared to soy, its such a scam.
English

@bryantclarkk you can set up your grouping and filtering however you like. it is no longer the default.

English

@amorriscode did y’all mean to remove grouping chats by project from Claude code desktop?
I’m just seeing all my chats as either pinned or resents this morning. Totally ungrouped otherwise
