@ironlungsmtg @DuressCrew it's 46 minutes long. i will listen to the entire thing later, but here's my initial thought: they can be doing their best, and it's also legitimate for people to be upset that it sold out. i tried to sign up 4 minutes 'late' and i was 80th on the waitlist.

I've been watching premodern a lot recently and it's got me wondering if there's a local scene. I like that all the decks are evergreen and there seems to be a diverse metagame at fun interactive power level??

@maxtortion if you look at jpn MS lists, they all play fetches, but they have FOW over Foil. in pm dreadnought lists that have higher island count (0 factories) it's more plausible. i'd also note that fetches' thinning can hurt in some matchups where the plan is long-game draw-go. try it!

Seeking to understand this about Premodern Stiflenought Are fetchlands really not worth it? I understand exposing yourself to stifle in the mirror, growing Terravore, and life loss vs aggro, but isn't the ability to take some (but not all) cards with Portent worth the tradeoff?
