I think at this point, every coder gets it.
We are going to see Bosses use this new technology to wreak havoc on the knowledge work economy. Some of it will be warranted. A lot of it won’t.

@bryne Seriously, that was uncalled for. I bust my ass doing TNR & rescue and I have had to fend off and engage in protracted local conflict engagement with sick people to protect TNR colonies. Dog fighters, dumpers, poisoners, etc. Why the blazes would you say this to a stranger? FFS.

This sweet, purring, headbutting baby had a home once. He's neutered and microchipped. But now he was found outside with a broken jaw, emaciated and in pain, unable to eat.
Owners on his chip were contacted and don't want him.

@feederofcats I know of people who do microchips after capturing already-TNR’d cats & kidnapping cats who have owners, then dump the cat far from their neighborhood to get rid of them. At least some cases of “owners” not responding to microchip calls are actually dumpers/pet abductors.

Former SJSU volleyball star Brooke Slusser says she shared beds with a transgender teammate without knowing that athlete was a biological male. She says she moved into an apartment with that teammate because her coach encouraged her to. Now, SJSU is suing the Trump administration to challenge an investigation that determined the school violated Title IX, and to reaffirm its commitment to the LGBTQ community, all while Slusser is still working on trying to process everything that happened while she lived in that apartment.
