@heyang_zhou But why FDB is hosted on vultr and not flyio, closer to the apps? Is this purely a HA/DR decision or fly lacks some storage features available on vultr better suited for FDB? Sry for my little knowledge about vultr.

@bryton When mvstore and the FDB cluster are colocated the performance is better because the FDB protocol generally does more network round-trips than the mvstore protocol.

@heyang_zhou Why vultr if I may ask? Wouldn't fly be sufficiently good enough to host mvstore too?
