@noclador Pretty sure it wouldn’t have made any difference if Denmark would’ve previously bought F35’s from the US, in this instance. Makes for a bit of introspection for the EU countries.

That's ridiculous. Denmark until now didn't invest in defence, because they expected the US to defend them. Now that they are threatened by the US, they still don't invest in defence, because they expect the French to defend them.
