I know that it is "started my own podcast" these days, but... I'm available as an advisor if anyone wants to work with me without seeing my annoying face daily 😀 Happy to chat about devtools, (C)OSS/Fair Source, DevRel, devtools marketing and building cloud products 🤓 DM me!

I maintain the position that CEOs who constantly have a camera in their faces are probably not getting much real work done.

I'm finding that today's coding agents are not very good at building TUIs reliably...at least not with .NET TUI libraries... 😓

@ivanburazin @dok2001 Trying... umm... what? 😂 Don't play a victim. You chose to post something silly, got corrected, but decided to continue pushing your point. You're the aggressor here, go back to building.

GitHub ,Google, Cloudflare don't have outages because they're badly run. The sheer volume of requests (mostly from agents now) breaks everything at that scale. We thought we'd cracked horizontal scale but now it's back to square one again. Agentic ai broke the infrastructure that worked for 20 years.

@ivanburazin @dok2001 Dude, you're talking to the CTO of a company that runs a massive subset of the whole internet's traffic. I bet he knows how the pressure on infra from agent-driven workloads actually looks like, vs “here is an uneducated view from my cozy sandbox” (pun is absolutely intended).

@dok2001 Not saying scale was the root cause in every incident. Also not an exhaustive list The point is broader: infra across the board is starting to feel pressure from agent-driven workloads. This isn’t criticism, it’s an observation of where things are heading

@dok2001 @ivanburazin Big fan of Cloudflare, but this ain't the flex you think it is. Going down because of bugs in your own configs and automations is a way worse look than not anticipating agent workload cycles. Which btw are orders of magnitude denser than anything humans throw at infrastructure.

@dok2001 @ivanburazin Sorry Dane, I don't think you're qualified to assess this. You're only the CTO of one of the companies he mentioned. What do you even know about the scale of infra that the world runs on, you haven't even been running a tech conference as your biggest achievement to date! 🤷‍♂️

Oh, great! Now we're getting ads in the “Following” feed from accounts we don't actually follow and they are NOT marked as ad (as before) 🧐 Caught me by surprise since there is no way I would be following that account. GG @nikitabier, the ad revenue goes brrrrr.

Operating in stealth mode is almost always a mistake. Talk publicly about what you're building. You’ll build momentum, get real feedback, and someone will reach out with the other half of your idea you didn’t realize you were missing.

@asm0di0 @apachekafka I've created Liiklus because @confluentinc were/are focused on BI/dashboards and didn't have any good (Kafka Streams is not) offers for application developers. OTOH I am sure that's a deliberate decision because that's where the money comes from. May change under IBM tho!

@asm0di0 Funny enough, Liiklus is neither product category 😅 It is much closer to @apachekafka category of products (a bit higher level but not too much) and you can definitely connect BI tools to it but it was created to make it easier to build EDA (Event-Driven Architecture) apps.

@asm0di0 No :) But I don't know many successful “this should work (and sell)... in theory” or “this worked almost 10 years ago, must still be relevant but I don't have the problem it solves at the moment” products, and there must be a reason for that 😀

@asm0di0 I appreciate the sentiment but actually almost anyone who works on systems with such needs today vs my now-theoretical knowledge :) Need to be back at building before I can feel confident about helping others build 🦾
