Jensen Huang: "If that $500,000 engineer did not consume at least $250,000 worth of tokens, I am going to be deeply alarmed. This is no different than a chip designer who says 'I'm just going to use paper and pencil. I don't think I'm going to need any CAD tools.'"

Goddam Indonesia HATES Godot Engine

as a dev, what was your first code editor?

This indie dev is making a game where you can literally play as Ancient Egyptian wall art. - Switch between a 3D archaeologist and living 2D art - Survive puzzles that fight back - Progress by mastering both worlds It’s called Fresco. This mechanic is genius.

I know there is some overlap between open source and anti-AI activists, but I have a hard time reconciling it. My million+ open source LOC were always intended as a gift to the world. Yes, I would make arguments about how it would strengthen our communities, and the GPL would prevent outright exploitation by our competitors, but those were to allay fears of my partners to allow me to make the gift. AI training on the code magnifies the value of the gift. I am enthusiastic about it! Some people do look at open source as a tool for social change, career advancement, or reputation building, but those are all downstream of the gift.

Crazy that a story that started out in a small hotel conference room eventually evolved into a narrative inspiring enough for it to become a HBO series. We worked incredibly hard on making Baldur's Gate 3 worthy of its legacy. Its characters and narratives are the result of many teams working together and I think I can speak for them all in saying that they'll think this is cool and hope that what comes next will enjoy the same level of passion. The endings of BG3 were created so they could serve as narrative soil for new adventures. There's plenty of directions they could go. I'm eager to find out which ones Craig and his team will pick. He's reached out for a chat so we'll have the opportunity to tell him our thoughts. Crossing fingers that the story we're cooking up for Divinity will eventually grow to the same heights. Certainly putting in the hours :)
