Obviously a fan account but I wrote in my notes going into fourth that Harden was performing “admirably” on D to this point guarding every position on the floor. But the Brunson isos were always going to be a vulnerability late, especially with the mileage of last month. Some of these were tip-your-cap superstar stuff but others were soooo avoidable with a good team scheme — see how Knicks avoided bad switches during same time. But they somehow were content leaving 36-year-old playing most minutes on the team on a guard who not that long ago was 5th in MVP voting. That’s horrific process

Sanders does a really nice job working the intermediate middle of the field, especially between the hashes in that 12 to 18-yard window. He anticipates throws well, throws with timing, and consistently puts the football in catch-and-run locations for his receivers. When his feet are tied to the progression and his base stays clean, you see the weight transfer from backside to frontside show up in the accuracy and ball placement. Very efficient mechanically when he's right, and it allows receivers to maximize yards after catch. #Browns

Observation: Blake Dunn looks like a different player compared to the 2025 version we saw. Last night, he played a big role in the victory: Two hits. Used his speed to beat a throw to the plate. Used his speed to cover a lot of ground to make a catch in foul territory in the 9th. He had the hardest hit ball of the night by a Red, a single at 107.9mph. It's a very small sample size, but in 25 plate appearances since his recall, he's hitting .348 with a .423 on-base. He's always had speed. He might be the fastest player on the team. But he's been overmatched at the plate in the past. Couldn't catch up to fastballs....hitting just .139 against heat last season. 2024 .154 with 11 K in 26 AB 2025 .150 with 25 K in 60 AB Has he turned a corner? Don't know. He's already 27. But he certainly has an interesting skillset. #Reds
