In Montana if your vehicle is 10 years old you get a permanent plate and never pay for registration again. No smog! When you buy a brand new vehicle you don’t pay any sales tax on it as well. The price you see is the price you pay! My registration had to be renewed this month my Subaru is 4 years old and my registration was $189.00 for the year!
