A disappointing third inning for Kentucky. Spotted a 7-0 lead, Ben Cleaver struck out the leadoff hitter but went walk, single, walk, RBI fielder's choice and another walk to load the bases. He was replaced by Burkley Bounds, who gave up a grand slam. It's now 7-5.

Imagine if a man attacked a black church, specifically targeting black children, because a black man killed his daughter. Imagine if someone told you "that's not racism, that's blowback"
idk, that would seem like a weird take to me bc it's saying that the killer is not a someone with agency. Because, wink wink, of course the killer would target black children. That's just the natural inclination of people "like that". You know. *Those* people. You just have to expect this kind of behavior from them.

Kharg Island is the primary Iranian #oil export port. A majority of the oil it sells - mostly to China - is loaded on Kharg.
By wiping out the weapons installations on the island it would make it *theoretically* easier for military action directly on the island, which sits in the Persian Gulf.
Iran is minting money selling oil to an already well-stocked China right now.

Last night, U.S. forces executed a large-scale precision strike on Kharg Island, Iran. The strike destroyed naval mine storage facilities, missile storage bunkers, and multiple other military sites. U.S. forces successfully struck more than 90 Iranian military targets on Kharg Island, while preserving the oil infrastructure.

It's great that conservative senators are speaking out against antisemitism.
It's not great that Republican members of the House and Senate are calling for the deportation of American Muslims and calling all members of that faith the enemy. This should be condemned too.

Some of you still don’t seem to understand this.
We conservatives who criticize the right aren’t trying to help the left. We do it because we know exactly what the left is about, reject it outright, and want our side strong enough to defeat it, both at the ballot box and in the culture.
A movement that tolerates populist demagoguery, antisemitism, and other morally questionable—or outright evil—ideologies is sabotaging itself.
The infection didn’t just arrive. It’s spreading.
Ignoring it means you’re weak.
