@Bad__Romance_@hausofsammmm No back in those days a successful album made enough money that artists didn’t need to go on the road to make extra coin, she didn’t tour after TRUE BLUE or LIKE A PRAYER but for the WHO’s THAT GIRL and I’M BREATHLESS movie soundtracks that followed those hit albums
@insidethegroove It’s Madonna teaming up with Stuart Price after 20 years and making another album for the dancefloor, it doesn’t have to mirror the original to be a sequel
“But it doesn’t sound like COADF”? What are you on about? That first album has fast pop numbers (Sorry), clubby tracks (Get Together), slow tempo tracks (Push) and even an acoustic guitar number (Like It Or Not). There isn’t a blueprint of what that first album represented.
Simone Biles has said she will no longer attend red carpet events after spending $23,000 on a stylist team for one event.
“I will be staying inside for the foreseeable future.”
@LuisSalasT Hard Candy is the only album in her career where she sounded like a Guest on her own album , she put too much control into the hands of Timbaland and Timberlake , they also produced Duran Duran’s worst received album around the same time
Hace 18 años Madonna lanzaba “Hard Candy”.
Un buen álbum el cual quedó opacado por su antecesor el majestuoso “Confessions On A Dance Floor” y siento que por eso a mucha gente no le gustó. :(
Mis favs ‘Miles Away’ ‘Beat Goes On’ y ‘Candy Shop’. 🍬
@mattrett Freddy didn’t want Madonna to have ANY dancers….ever. He didn’t think she should dance either, note. Folks, she still utilizes dancers when in performance. I still maintain it was a great idea I had. Btw, Freddy and I got along fine.
Freddy DeMann admitting he urged Madonna not to use Erika Belle and Christopher Ciccone when he signed her. Sacrilege, Freddy, sacrilege! (From Billy Corgan's pod.) instagram.com/p/DXu8CMxptn2/
Honestly this collaboration sounds amazing and works so well. Screw the late ⏰ haters who can’t stand Madonna releasing her first single as a collaboration. I wish Medellin (a great song but not so great collaborator who ruins the song) was like “Bring Your Love.” Two powerhouse pop queens sounding so great and to a four to the floor beat. 💫💜💿
