@bscgscotland This one is Siphonoperla torrentium. Chloroperla has less dark markings on the head and pronotum

Stoneflies (that on small size ? fit #Chloroperla tripunctata Scarce Small Yellow Sally ) briefly watched near the River Nethy this morning #tuesdayvibe #plecoptera #riparianzone

@bscgscotland The mayfly is a male Baetis subimago. The stonefly looks like Chloroperla tripunctata rather then I. grammatica. The latter would have a pale longitudinal stripe on the pronotum

Many thanks 25 May find same site a female too ?? On Ad. #stonefly front so far all fits with #Isoperla grammatica photod by Nethy have healthy intact #wings This Yellow Sally with incomplete right antenna (but ? just accidental break)

@bscgscotland It’s one of the Baetis species. It has tiny hindwings at the base of the forewings.
