I saw someone say Africa can’t drill its own oil or run its own mines, that it depends on foreigners because they have the technology. But this doesn’t add up. Across Africa: Nigeria, Angola, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, universities are training engineers every year. Petroleum. Mechanical. Industrial. So why can’t we build our own drilling rigs, our own mining machines, our own technology? The talent is here. What’s missing is industrial application.

You will die, if you cut off dependency. Thats what happened to Japan during Shogunnate era. We should invest in Education. By education, I don't mean building more classrooms. Building the mindset, changing the curriculum. Sell your natural resources for knowledge. Thats what Stalin did in Soviet, that made industrialize quickly to rival U.S STEM Education was a must, every child understood Math.

Only few Nation possess the skill to convert sand to computer. Africa lived with Crude oil for centuries, only for Colonialism to tell us its importance. Life is complex.

Africa has everything needed to build lithium-ion batteries. DRC produces most of the world’s cobalt. Zimbabwe, Namibia, Ghana - lithium. Zambia - copper. Madagascar - nickel. South Africa - Gold All the ingredients are here. Yet we export raw materials to Europe, China, India, the US... then import expensive finished batteries. Africa should be building battery factories for itself and for the world. Africa should be the world's market for lithium batteries. If we did this, even electric vehicles and phones would be cheaper across Africa. This is Africa’s moment. The opportunity is here. Execution is not.
