Why did you delete @BryanPassifiume?
Does your employer @TheTorontoSun potentially have a problem saying that a mother being shot repeatedly by ICE was "well-deserved"?
I've watched thousands of videos from the Jan. 6 riot as part of NPR's reporting and archive project on that day.
Here are some of the lesser known videos that have really stuck with me.

@JJ_McCullough Dude NYT is the cream of the crop in global reporting. Yes we want cbc to be the best it can be, but that’s like comparing Crosby to some career AHLer
I listened to a CBC podcast about the Venezuelan situation and then I listened to a podcast from the New York Times. It’s really night and day just how much higher quality American reporting is. CBC spoke to some Canadian guy; the NYT spoke to people in Venezuela.
The White House on Tuesday attempted to rewrite the history of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, unveiling a new webpage that described the pro-Trump marchers as "peaceful" and "orderly" and accused police of escalating tensions and violence. abcnews.link/l66xSIF
@buildinglegacys@TomDreisbach In reports after the event, police thought they were outgunned, that if they opened fire they would be killed. That's why the only shot fired was when they were breaking into the main room while congress was still evacuating.
BREAKING: Antifa cells in Canada are calling for “attacks” on US businesses & “riots” to spread terror over Maduro’s arrest
The call came from a Montreal-based cell and spread across affiliated sites. Ottawa has refused to label Antifa groups terror orgs

Couldn’t agree more. Hockey as a culture was built on passion for the game and its lost that when kids are playing year round in development camps, specialist coaches throughout the year and stuff like this that remove the fun and focus on training instead
@JasonJayjo62962@DRodbone I imagine you’d be searching a long time for any considerable group of ppl who would rather Trump invade Canada than living under PP.
It's insane that this needs to be said, but if you're a Canadian calling for the US to overthrow our duly elected Prime Minister you're a fucking traitor. Patriots don't cheer against their own Country because an election didn't go the way you wanted. Leave or STFU.
NO ROOM AT THE INN!
@HiltonHotels has launched a coordinated campaign in Minneapolis to REFUSE service to DHS law enforcement.
When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations.
This is UNACCEPTABLE. Why is Hilton Hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our nation’s immigration laws?
I remember when it was easy to be proud of Canada in this tournament.
Now a days they get out worked, out battled, out competed. By the Euro teams no less.
You must create "When I Die" binder.
It will help the people you love find all your financial accounts and guide them on next steps.
Here are 9 things to include:
Imagine that you have finally bought a little house in a quiet, single-family neighbourhood.
Then the government lets a developer build a towering fourplex next door to house population growth from mass immigration.
Statement from the Prime Minister of Denmark 🇩🇰:
“I must say this very clearly to the United States:
It makes absolutely no sense to speak of any necessity for the United States to take over Greenland. The United States has no legal basis to annex one of the three countries of the Kingdom of Denmark.
The Kingdom of Denmark — and thus Greenland — is a member of NATO and is therefore covered by the Alliance’s collective security guarantee. We already have a defence agreement between the Kingdom of Denmark and the United States that grants the U.S. broad access to Greenland. In addition, the Kingdom has made significant investments in security in the Arctic.
I therefore strongly urge the United States to cease its threats against a historically close ally, and against another country and another people who have stated very clearly that they are not for sale.”
