@bullsize @itsjat32 No. You need to get an idea of footfalls. Earlier, footfalls used to be high. In the 2000’s a movie with 3 cr footfalls used to be considered a blockbuster. Post-2015, for any movie getting 3 cr+ footfalls was a massive, massive feat - Dangal, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Tiger 2.

@Noah_756 @itsjat32 So ultimately the 5x priced tickets have helped the film reach the milestone which otherwise it wouldn’t have. The ultimate metric should be footfalls because that explains how has the general audience have accepted it.

@bullsize @itsjat32 The ticket price in Gadar’s era was 10-15 RS. Obviously it would have high footfalls. In 2017, in BB2 & Dangal’s time it was 105-125 RS. Now, it’s 200-250 RS.

@growing_daniel #Apple is the cheapest device to demarcate a class divide applicable universally. One can own the same product as the richest man just for $999, where the Guccis & Bentleys cost way more. It can definitely charge some premium to help such folks distinguish them from peasants
