Presented my ‘TD’ today, retrospectively (from 2004)!
The Efficiency (Territorial) Decoration was for completing a relevant number of years in Regular and Reserve Army service.
My thanks to the MOD Medal Office, which put my case to The King for approval.

I saw first-hand how 🇬🇧 UK @nato troops served bravely on frontline with US 🇺🇸 friends in #Afghanistan. To suggest otherwise is just wrong.

First Sea Lord @GenGJenkinsRM’s speech was inspiring and punchy. He refused to shy away from the tough issues facing the Navy but insisted a plan was underway to fix it. He’s a no-nonsense leader of action and is proving a solid head of the Navy. Let’s hope Government backs him!
