This is the former Minister of Defence. Dozens of soldiers escorted him wherever he went while he was in office. There wasn’t a barricade in Nigeria that could deny him access when he held power. But look at him now some junior officers have denied him access to the VIP wing of APC National Convention a place that, during his time as minister, they would have proudly escorted him into. Power is temporary. Authority fades. Positions change. What remains is how you treated people when you had influence. Be humble!

This contemporary residential building in India was made with bare, raw materials - no paint, tiles or artificial ceiling finishes and it came out quite well if I do say so myself. This is evidence that we can reduce our dependence on artificial and imported building materials (which are expensive anyways) and still have an aesthetically pleasing look for our buildings, especially in tropical climates..
