Another American community turned into a combat zone. ICE agents shot and killed a person in the streets of Biddeford, Maine. They are acting like Trump's racist secret police force because they know they have zero accountability. It is long past time to abolish ICE, strip them of this unchecked power, and prosecute every single agent involved to the fullest extent of the law. Biddeford deserves answers, and the American people demand justice.

@brianeharrison Is Greg Abbott in any way helpful? I’ve voted for him each election and he’s been a massive disappointment. Let’s hire Ron DeSantis next time.

I was elected to the Texas House in 2021 after returning from the Trump Administration, where I served in a senior capacity. Five years later, the Democrats wield more power in the House than they did then, and by every object metric of limited government conservatism, last session was an absolute disaster. Despite gaslighting… the Texas House is NOT more conservative. Our "Republican" Speaker was elected by Democrats, the House Parlimentarian is still an Obama lawyer, the Speaker Pro Tem is still a radical Democrat, and James Talarico and Gene Wu are still in House leadership. Property taxes have never been higher, and are going up! The Texas government has never been bigger. Spending has skyrocketed 42%, and has never been higher. Government debt is at an all time high. Texas now has a HIGHER debt-to-GDP ratio than CALIFORNIA. Corporate welfare is on steroids. Wind and solar are still subsidized. Hollywood is getting billions of tax dollars. There are more government agencies/commissions/bureaucracies/regulations than ever after last session. The TEXAS GOVERNMENT is a top ten user of H-1Bs in Texas. The new "Texas DOGE" has somehow managed to GROW government. And Texans are less free. This is not the fault of Democrats (there aren't enough Democrats in Austin to pass a birthday resolution on their own)... but of TxLege “Republicans,” who gladly sell out their constituents for the popularity in the swamp that comes with colluding with Democrats to grow government. As government grows, liberty diminishes. Texans deserve the TRUTH about their government. And the next generation of Texans deserve elected officials who will fight to protect their LIBERTY! I will continue fighting against liberals (in both parties) in the pursuit of a more FREE and prosperous Texas. It’s an honor to be in this fight for freedom alongside so many patriots across this great state!!

@chiproytx Has Greg Abbott ever heard of Ron DeSantis and all of the amazing things he has done in Florida? Someone should introduce them.

This really is an unbelievable story and just about sums up the UK right now. A small leafy village in Piddington has voted for independence from the United Kingdom because the Government is planning on dumping 1000 illegal aliens into a village of only 180 people.

On the way to Dallas for a sold out event. Never thought people would care what I have to say — it’s such an odd human experience. I treat this role very seriously & promise to bring an unbridled enthusiasm to every single thing I do.

@SenSanders Is "oligarchic" your favorite word? How many homes do you own now? Flying private much? Have you ever had a job?

It’s not complicated. Trump doesn’t believe in democracy. He hates democratic Europe and loves the oligarchic dictatorships in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar. He wants to stifle dissent in the media and arrest his opponents. ALL Americans must unify against authoritarianism.

Illegal immigrants aren't "dreamers", they're invaders who jumped the line, drain welfare, commit disproportionate crime, and should be deported en masse with zero amnesty. America isn't the world's homeless shelter.

Kinda. The bigger reason is most senators (not all, but most) are among the laziest people on earth. They are also extremely entitled. The love the perks of the office, the free international trips, the envelopes of per diem cash, the profitable business opportunities that magically present themselves. But they hate doing work, and they really hate having to be physically present in the Senate for more than a few hours each week. Boy do they hate doing actual work. It is for this reason that the rank-and-file senators love the filibuster. They get to blame it for their own refusal to do work. “We don’t have 60, not worth the effort.” Now party leadership loves the filibuster because of the control aspect. That much is true. But your average do-nothing senator, of the type that represents probably 80 percent of the Senate GOP conference, that senator loves the filibuster because it gives him a convenient excuse not just for doing nothing, but for refusing to even try.
Rick Scott@SenRickScott

Here’s why people in both parties don’t want to use or lose the filibuster: control. Hiding behind the 60 vote threshold and the cloture rule makes it easier to control the chamber, control debate, and control the schedule. That way there are no surprises and everyone gets to leave town after lunch on Thursday without fail. Open debate, open amendments, and majority threshold make things less predictable. And that makes comfortable people uncomfortable. If we want to secure our elections and pass the rest of the America First agenda, we’re going to need to shake some things up.

I don’t think the majority of Republicans realize how real of a threat communism is to the 🇺🇸. Communism is taking root American-style. Universities, funded by your tax dollars, teach kids to hate their country. Graduates pile up debt, realize they’ll never afford a home, and vote resentful. Add millions of illegal aliens and non-assimalative types, 95% of whom are from the third world, who just want America to be slightly better than where they fled. Free stuff sounds smart. Together they form a growing voting bloc that prefers redistribution over aspiration. Republicans obsess over optics and fear mass deportations. Yet deportations are the fastest way to ease housing prices so young Americans can actually build a future. Stop playing small ball cowards!!! The incentives are being locked in against us. Wake up and act, or lose the country!
Kristina Wong 🇺🇸@Kristinawong

This is one of the top reasons my mom loves Trump — he understands the dangers of Communism. She’s witnessed those dangers firsthand. Her grandparents owned a store in China, and died of starvation when the Communists took over. It must never take hold in America.

Texas will not permit the exploitation of its healthcare system or its citizenship laws. Governor Abbott will fight birth tourism and hold accountable any hospital or facility that profits from it.

NEW: For the past several days, I’ve been digging into photos circulating on social media showing billboards in Mexico advertising childbirth packages at a Texas hospital near the southern border and pressing the hospital for answers. Now, President Trump is pointing to those same billboards as he calls on the Supreme Court to immediately rehear the birthright citizenship case.

This is day 10 of me respectfully but firmly, demanding that Governor Gregory Wayne Abbott, stop the Islamic invasion of the state of Texas. Work with Congress if you have to, we the people demand a solution to what is happening. I have proposals if you need them, We are done talking about it, do something about this, protect our constitution, protect the American people, protect Texas.
