Could just about spot the partial solar eclipse in Oxford this morning through the cloud (don’t look directly at the Sun!) The Moon is just taking a little bite out of the Sun. Did anyone else manage to spot it?

@RidleyJG The best tip I can give anyone who wants to reduce energy usage or reduce heat is to undervolt your gpu. It's been a revelation for my 3070 saving almost 100w while gaming all for a really minimal performance hit. Don't get me wrong though, I didn't game yesterday either!

@drbecky_ if we were able to place a radio telescope on the moon (how cool) would it offer useful data for collabs such as the event horizon telescope? Wouldn't there be too much of a dead zone for the algorithms to extrapolate the objects we are observing? Hope my q makes sense
