Yesterday was a big day. Chris Sale made his 314th career start, matching Sandy Koufax’s career total. Now I would personally never pick Sale over Koufax, but if I was going to make a case for Sale to end up in Cooperstown, I would start here.

@burnthisacnt I don’t think you can argue plenty of guys are better. Styles is going to be a top 10 pick regardless. The only players who are arguably better where the Titans will be picking are Reese, Love and maybe Downs.

If Borgonzi is a man of his word, as he’s been so far, then the Titans are taking the best football player available at number 4. The two players who fit that definition who might be there at 4? Jeremiyah Love and Sonny Styles.

@zandermercury If you want a Number 2 WR at 4th overall... He is a worse WR prospect than Egbuka was a year ago, who went 19th.

@traviebird00 I can argue plenty of players are better, including 2 guys on his own team. Dude is a combine warrior. The production wasn't there in college. He was overshadowed by both Downs and Reese. Not to mention, drafting an off ball LB top 5 is about the dumbest thing you can do.

@burnthisacnt The only players you can argue are better than Styles in that area are Love, Reese and Downs. Reese will probably be gone.

@TicTacTitans The only WR in this class that would still have been a top 20 pick in last year's class is Tyson. Lemon isn't a first rounder in last year's class. Tate is barely top 25, and certainly is no better than Egbuka was at this time last year.

I’m not “low” on him but I’ve gotten lower on Makai Lemon as I’ve finished up all his games.

Someone should remind Leavitt what actually happened 250 years ago. The United States was not founded as a religious state. It was founded as a constitutional republic that explicitly rejected one. No national church. No enforced doctrine. No state-controlled belief. The founders drew from many sources, including Christian thought, Enlightenment philosophy, and classical history. But they made a clear choice: protect religion by keeping it out of government power. That distinction is the foundation.
