In August 2014, a local news reporter at the Wayne County Fair in Pennsylvania pulled aside a small boy who had just come off one of the rides.
His name was Noah Ritter, he was five years old, and he was there with his grandfather, visiting from Wilkes-Barre.
The reporter asked him what he thought of the ride.
Noah did not really answer.
Instead, he launched into a wandering, breathless monologue built almost entirely around one word: apparently.
"It was great, and apparently I've never been on live television before," he said.
He explained that he does not usually watch the news "because I'm a kid," and that his grandpa hands him the remote after they watch the Powerball drawing.
The reporter tried to steer him back to the ride.
Noah obliged, briefly. "Wow, it was great." Why? "Because apparently you're spinning around and apparently every time you get dizzy. Yeah, that's all you do is get dizzy."
He kept returning to the fact that he was on television.
"I've never ever been on live television. I never ever be on live television." He mentioned the super slide too, and how going down it had scared him half to death.
The reporter, by this point clearly aware she had something unusual on her hands, asked for his name and turned to his grandfather to spell it out. R-I-T-T-E-R. From Wilkes-Barre.
"All right, buddy. Good stuff."
The clip ran on WNEP, a local station serving northeastern Pennsylvania. Within days it had spread across the internet.
Noah became known as the "apparently kid," and the interview turned into one of the defining viral local news moments of that year.

I love that they have at least thought about it, recognize it as a possibility. It makes me feel good, even hopeful. It’s been awhile, but everything goes in cycles. Even stupid has its limit in CA. We are at ludicrous stupid, but still…they can only poop on and run everything into the ground for so long.

Lastly, divorce is bad. Do try to avoid it. It's especially bad for children. But it isn't the end of the world. It's not SO incredibly bad that it's worth avoiding marriage on purpose just so you can't get divorced.

So, a serious personal take on this "Chud the Builder" thing: this guy seems like a complete fucking clown.
He's one of a new breed of nuisance streamers - Johnny Somali, Doherty, Bend Over Girls - whose entire schtick is going to public places and provoking people for clout and money. In this case, in Location X, he yelled slurs and challenges at a Black guy - ALSO a low-IQ criminal - to see if "mere words" could "provoke the chimp to chimp out."
The guy hit him, which is an escalation, but Chud did not then fight him one on one: he instead pulled a gun and apparently panicked...shooting bro and also SHOOTING HIMSELF THROUGH THE LEG. We can argue about whether bail's too high or whatever, but defending this is nuts.

There is no incentive to grow on X. Smaller accounts feel absolutely frustrated. My account is mid-size, and even I am struggling to get views. My posts are barely shown. I dont really care about growing on X anymore. But I do care about being able to use my account to spread conservative messaging through midterms. Everybody's reach has tanked. Across the board. Some of us are getting better reach on fb and other platforms. It never used to be the case on X. Hopefully, things will get better. Growing pains on X.

This is how the algorithm can completely destroy your reach over night. This is the last: Left: 3 months Right: 2 weeks Super consistent 85-95% drop on all metrics. everything after a viral post going ballistic, I tried everything, cool down, delete low quality posts, block bot accounts. Kept posting after cool down, nothing really breaks through. Short hot takes 🛑 Long form with good signal 🛑 Viral potential post 🛑 Core audience value post 🛑 What bothers me here is that 48h after posting a mega viral post I get suppressed back to the Stone Age. This follow previous situations I’ve had with the grok powered algorithm. Where it feels like tweepCred falls far below a certain level, and you’re locked into a low reach prison with every effort to break out is making it harder and harder to do so. I’m asking for transparency on what we can do as content creators when this happens. I don’t want to spam my way out of this. I’d like to know, if I did something wrong, how I can address it, take the responsibility of algorithmic suppression for what ever the length is. But this limbo is most likely going to make me leave the platform.
