It's confirmed. ACIP has been disbanded! This is the fallout from US District Judge Brian Murphy’s March 16 ruling that stayed the appointments of 13 ACIP members and nullified all committee votes taken since June 2025. This is what happens when Big Pharma’s business model is threatened. They lawyer up and organizations like AAP help them go judge shopping to find a corrupt judge willing to shut down the first ACIP in decades that dared to ask hard questions about vaccine safety, efficacy, and the conflicts of interest that have plagued this committee for years. Rather than fight a lengthy appeal process, the Trump administration has decided to reconstitute ACIP. ACIP has been disbanded. The government’s response to the AAP lawsuit and judge Murphey’s injunction is to disband and then recreate a new ACIP committee, as this will take less time than would be required to file and prosecute an appeal. There will be no action from the government to respond to the defamatory characterization of the former ACIP members.
