Last Friday in Dar es Salaam, stakeholders validated findings from a study on digital financial inclusion for women and youth traders in Tanzania. Funded by the @gatesfoundation, commissioned by @TradeMarkAfrica, and conducted with the @TanzaniaWomen Chamber of Commerce and the @FSDTanzania the study shows that while digital finance reaches 95% of women and youth traders, fewer than one in ten use digital savings or credit, leaving many small businesses exposed to shocks despite widespread access.
