Dellor's interview with LR after Blackpool suggested either Tim didn't know Ritchie signed a 2yr deal or LR's not got any plans for him... go figure. Also, given his tenure being a former captain of #readingfc I'd have given Yids his own personal send off piece than this! Poor!

@TheTilehurstEnd Considering we mostly play him out of position, criticism of Dorsett I've always felt has been harsh.

Quick retained list thoughts... Dorsett: Not surprised he's been retained, given Richardson rates him. Decent enough squad option too. Rino and Abrefa: Surprised #ReadingFC want to keep both, given their lack of game time this season. Not sure how many minutes we'd get out of Rino next season. Elliott: Not surprised he's going, given injury, but there's a good player if he can improve his availability. Glad the club are supporting him over the summer - might precede a contract offer? Yiadom, Camara, Stickland, Rushesha: All as expected. Will be interested to see where they end up next season.

Might not have pleased everyone but having an RB who put a foot in, compared with Chris Gunter just shadowing players into our box was a breath of fresh air! When fit, he could be a handful and during busgate at P'boro actually spoke to fans. All the best Yids! #readingfc

@SimFromBucks Thing is though, what are the qualifications you need? Recruitment, we know he's decent. Knows where the club's at to make the big calls on manager's, naturally he'd consult with Couhig anyway. Academy, bit of a grey area atm but it's simply getting guys loans. How hard is it?

@bw_jester_rfc happy to let him run the recruitment side of things, but DoF position = overseeing managerial appointments, academy etc, so a slightly different job imo

Given Brian Carey's experience of working with no budget, does he really need to be supervised or overseen? Just let him cook and give him the DOF role already. #readingfc

It's the fact he's "their guy" allowed to bring his team with him, whereas Hunt had to settle on his assistant. NH wasn't great, but he deserved a proper crack IMO. Sacked after 4 wins in 10. Leam's currently on 2/10 btw, yet using the same excuses if not worse. #readingfc

@bw_jester_rfc Yeah agree with all of that, didn't seem like an amazing appointment from the get go, maybe cheaper, maybe a good talker for his interviews etc plus the recent success at Wigan? I don't even see lots of managers I would want here, although was sad not to get Wilder ..

@ChrisH1871 This is it though isn't it? We've not really gotten any further despite a change which makes the whole process of change just feel bloody pointless. Every change should feel like progress and we haven't had it. Owners just need to admit they got it wrong.

@bw_jester_rfc Yeah i liked Hunt but it wasnt good, no different from this really, but we loved him so it was more acceptable to suffer a bit. But not much has changed and 'their guy' is getting horrendous abuse for getting us a bit of hope for playoffs. Shit football aside.

Lewis Wing might have had a shout at being #readingfc player of the season again, had we not played him pretty much 2ft in front of our CBs this season. Front footed attacking football eh?

Am I the only one that thought Abrefa looked pretty good today? Another strange decision from Richardson to disregard him throughout the season whilst Andy Yiadom kept costing us points. #Readingfc

Front-footed attacking football is not putting everyone behind the penalty spot when defending a corner. You'd at least keep a few forward as outlets, to stop them crowding our box and help with stopping second balls. There, I said it! #readingfc
