HOORAE's SCREEN TIME is now the most popular micro-series in the history of TikTok & PineDrama. And this partnership is just getting started. So excited for what is still to come, and the role that brands will play in it all. DM me if you're interested in collaborating.

@EricTilbury_RTB 100% developing an own model of performance, that they feed into is smart, at least for advertisers of scale

No, MMM isn’t perfect. But damn, it’s so much better than platform metrics as the source of truth.

2008 vibes feels like 2026 … feels like I was In a Time Machine … this is me talking about live streaming .. ( upstream vs twitch ) and me talking about big brands wasting money on traditional marketing … these were the vibes that lead me to create @vaynermedia … what a time .. what vibes are you feeling today ????

Saturday night, reading a book, martini at hand and I can hear the rain through the open window. Eldest sitting right by me. Bliss.

@ChrisHarihar I think an inadvertent effect of clipping on X, you paid people to get the views, but then in some cases they were also getting paid as a creator by Twitter for the views.

If this is true, lots of streamers are screwed. Not necessarily a bad thing—they’ve built audiences by packaging boring clips in absurd, engagement-farming ways.

@Chilearmy123 Content theft is a losing game. We already have duplicate detection for videos working in internal testing. Impressions & engagements on reposts will accrue to the original author.

Yeah marketing changes every 18 months, the CMO has the hardest job in the C Suite, and never gets enough time to manage the board (I think). If growth goes well they don’t get the credit, but if it misses they are first to take the fall. There’s three cogs, the companies objectives, the market (and customer changing and the internal teams capabilities. You need all three in sync to win, and they all change on their own cycle,

"I think the highest turnover job of any Silicon Valley executive position might be the CMO." Airbnb's @bchesky says he has a huge amount of respect for people in marketing because it's one of the hardest functions in a business. "Because once something works, it almost becomes stale. Because everyone does it." "Part of my theory is that what works in marketing changes every few years and you have to be adaptable. Your old playbook gets outdated." "It's this thing called 'banner blindness.' After you see something over and over, you tend to be blind to it, so you need a new tactic."

Just saw something in an ad account audit I have never seen before. Skincare brand spending $50k+/mo at a sub 1x ROAS. All adsets are targeting the same interest: “Beautiful Skin”. The media buyer thought it was an interest, but accidentally selected fans of Beautiful Skin, a punk band from the ‘90s. You can’t make this stuff up.

In the last six months I've had three Swedish lolly shops open up within 5 minutes walk. And I'm not even in Sweden. Spoilt for choice.
