Kelly, I never said I was your keeper. I pointed people back to Scripture. You also said we are not our social media profile. I agree that a profile doesn’t capture every aspect of a person’s life. However, it does communicate what we choose to publicly promote, defend, and associate ourselves with. Jesus said, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34), and He also said we recognize people by their fruit (Matthew 7:16–20). I cannot see your heart, and I have never claimed to. I can only evaluate what you publicly choose to say and defend. If your social media does not accurately represent your beliefs, then the obvious question is: Why publicly defend or promote things that Scripture plainly condemns? That is the issue I have been addressing all along. That response addresses what she actually wrote, avoids saying you know her heart, and keeps the discussion centered on the public statements and the biblical principles you’re relying on.
