Last night, another act of political violence shook the nation. At this point, no one should be surprised.
“The President is a fascist.”
“Eat the rich.”
“Let the streets soak in capitalists’ blood.”
“Globalize the intifada.”
“By any means necessary.”
This isn’t fringe rhetoric anymore. It’s been normalized, echoed on campaign trails, and amplified on podcasts where politicians regularly appear.
You don’t get to indulge this language, elevate those who use it, and then act shocked when it turns into violence.
We need to get back to sanity before we lose our country.
@Aatish7077@VooTheViking What Starbucks do you go to that charges 10 bucks for a coffee? Last I checked it was 3.00 for a grande close to what Tim's charges for their large
@VooTheViking If you want a red haired white Canadians serving you coffee then go to Starbucks and pay $10 for it. Only hard working immigrants can work for those wages at a high traffic location like Tim's. Don't look down upon honest work.
Tim Horton’s is kinda like Canada. It was once a great place to go but now is just a dirty mess where no one speaks English, everything costs too much and is just riding on its past credibility.
@lukefj@TruthFringe@nickdangerca@rhum01 No they don't.. with such poor turn out it means nothing just his supporters show up.. others are tired of all the Bs from all parties they don't show up
@TruthFringe@nickdangerca@rhum01 By-election results resoundingly disprove your belief here, but I know you won’t be convinced. Everyone else is wrong and you are right.
Can someone please tell me.. Like I have my Elbows Up, How ANYTHING Mark Carney has done since becoming Prime Minister has benefited Canada or Canadians? Just ONE thing.
... I'll wait.
@jjl8813@sarobertsonca Canada is already in trouble.Homelessness at an all time high.Affordability is no longer available here. Food bank use has almost doubled in the last few years. Youth unemployment is at a record high. just that alone should be raising the alarms.. but people seem ok with it
@sarobertsonca Oh so it's not just the Trump effect after all... if this guy represents Canadian conservatives they are in trouble lol Carney was the head of 2 Central Banks this guy hypes up crypto and says CARNEY doesnt know economics? Bro lol
Pierre Poilievre: It's clear that he's learned all the wrong lessons--
Mark Carney: Oh dear, oh dear. Mr. Speaker, I feel like I'm in the presence of students. I don't think you would pass the exam with those answers.
@bdogleague@Smileyyeg@Samueldfelix Yet it was Trudeau that brought in Bill C-14 legalizing assisted suicide.. Does that make him and other liberals disgusting human beings as well? Or PP cause you don't like him?
@Smileyyeg@Samueldfelix I had to stop listening to this ‘conservative’ politician from Canada. He’s for such things as the demonic practice of government assisted suicide. An absolutely disgusting human being.
"Every creature in the universe, every bird in the trees, every fish in the seas, has to live with scarcity, maximizing use of scarce resources."
"The only creature who doesn't do that, is the politician, because he's always using someone else's money."
@NuhBlueCheck@davzhao We didn't have timely Care before Ford either.. in 2013 the population of Ontario was 13,511,902. Now in 2026 its over 16 million kind of makes sense more people longer waits. If another party took over tomorrow we still wouldn't have timely Care due lack of infrastructure
Why does Canada have the longest MRI wait times in the developed world?
The Ontario health ministry has a central licensing department for all imaging. In 2024 less than 30 licenses were given out. I know imaging centres that have machines collecting dust for years waiting to be licensed.
This is a classic Soviet style artificial supply constraint created by bureaucracy.
Meanwhile Canadians are driving to Buffalo or overseas for private MRIs.
@bordenone@MTLpuck Funny you say that as someone who lives in Toronto leaf fans are way worse..Mtl fans had to listen to the exact same crap from leaf fans for last few years..

@ChiKaDee214@AnneF1610602@MichaelChongMP Why not people still vote for the liberal cult .. they are just as bad or worse than the cons what a sad state of politics Canada has..
Prime Minister Carney continues to demonstrate a worrying trend: Running away from accountability and refusing to answer questions.
The PM, his Ministers and his officials continue to contradict themselves - on India and on Iran. And the PM refuses to clarify what the government’s position actually is.
On India, last week a Carney government official said India is no longer meddling and conducting foreign interference activities, transnational repression or violence in Canada. This week, CSIS said the opposite: That India is still one of the main perpetrators of foreign interference and espionage activities in Canada.
On Iran, last week Mr. Carney was unequivocal in supporting U.S. airstrikes against Iran when he said, “Canada supports the United States acting to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and to prevent its regime from further threatening international peace and security.”
In contrast, Minister Anand said this week, “We prefer a diplomatic solution,” and "Canada believes in a diplomatic and peaceful solution.”
And Minister McGuinty managed to say both contradictory things at once: That the government supports the U.S. airstrikes and supports a ceasefire. “The Prime Minister and the government decided from the beginning of this that we would support this incursion. But we're also calling for a diplomatic end to it. We’d very much prefer to see peace and a ceasefire.”
The Prime Minister is avoiding the media and refuses to answer questions about the threats to the safety and security of Canadians and refuses to answer questions about Canada’s position in international affairs. This is deeply troubling.
As head of government, he has a special responsibility for national security and for the conduct of international relations. He needs to start answering questions.

Earlier, I spoke with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Canada stands in solidarity with the UAE against Iranian missile and drone attacks on civilians across the Middle East.
I expressed my gratitude to His Highness for his protection of the thousands of Canadians who live in the UAE. Canada calls for a de-escalation, and the immediate cessation of attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure.
