The right needs to unite to defeat the dangers of the left. Country before party, Britain before ego. As a Tory, I’ve said I think the Tories should not have stood in Makerfield. Same goes for Restore. This is not any old election. It is a very specific one where the national interest should trump other considerations.

"Just because you’ve got a flag in your van and you scream at people in the street doesn’t make you a patriot." Chancellor Rachel Reeves tells Channel 4 News' Economics Editor Helia Ebrahimi that being a patriot is about "loving this country and treating other people with respect", after being heckled during a previous interview.

National food security should be a top priority!🙌🏼

Asylum decisions have quadrupled. The asylum backlog is now down from its peak of 175,000 to 49,000 people awaiting a decision - the lowest level since 2019. More decisions mean more asylum hotel closures and more illegal migrants removed or deported.

93,525 people claimed asylum in the UK between April 2025 and March 2026, down by 12% on the year before The number of asylum seekers living in hotels while awaiting a decision fell to 20,885 in March 2026, down from 30,657 in December 2025

YouGov's study of the 2026 local elections shows that just 46% of 2024 Labour voters who went to the polls remained loyal to the party, with more backing the Greens (22%) than Reform UK (6%) two weeks ago The Conservatives retained 55% of their 2024 voters, with 33% switching to Reform UK

I don’t really see why anyone would want to work for or invest in a startup in Britain under these tax rates. It’s already a pretty risky proposition, employees already pay income tax and NICs when equity vests, and then nearly half of any gains after that are taxed as well?

🚨DESPITE NET MIGRATION HAVING FALLEN BY 82% SINCE ITS PEAK NEARLY HALF OF BRITONS INCORRECTLY BELIEVE ITS ACTUALLY INCREASED! Politicians have now been blamed for skewing the public's understanding of immigration levels. This is a shocking indictment of the abject failure of UK news shows to get the actual facts about net migration across to the public and call out the bull**** by the likes of Nigel Farage. If UK news shows can’t get the job done let’s damn well do it ourselves!

NEW: There are now 35,000 fewer illegal migrants in asylum hotels – a 63% decrease since September 2023. At its peak, 400 asylum hotels were in use, costing the taxpayer £9 million a day. All asylum hotels will close their doors to illegal migrants for good.
