@minas01089869 @DXB Yes me too, they have told us it was put into storage containers and now they haven’t got enough staff to bring them back to arrivals, they should have done that in the first place! If they were able to move them to containers I’m sure they can reach us!

@bxthhh__ @DXB no we haven’t either, no idea where our luggage is spoke to them last at the airport check in area 6 wednesday night and they said it is stuck on the ramp which been flooded ?? so they have not received it

@TanushreeJ1995 @DXB That is so bad! I’m hearing a lot of flights that are now departing Dubai are going without any luggage at all😢

@bxthhh__ @DXB Ohhh our return flight is after 15 days. So it is literally impossible to go back to dubai airport from lax which is 16 hrs and collect our luggage

@TanushreeJ1995 @DXB We haven’t been back to the airport since Thursday, we plan on going tomorrow ahead of our flight Monday hoping by then the cases are back, they told me on Thursday they would take up to 10 hours, so if they’re not there after 3 days there’s a problem

@bxthhh__ @DXB Yeah that’s what other people were told, I had hassle with rebooking a flight out of Dubai so I’m not flying out of there now, it was a connecting flight on Wednesday from Sydney to Dubai and was meant to go to Dublin after that. Going via Abu Dhabi Sunday now on my own expense

@Kieran_Furlong @DXB They told me 10 hours on Wednesday, 6-12 hours yesterday and now they’re saying 5 days?!!!

@Kieran_Furlong @DXB What won’t be processed? Are you just trying to leave Dubai or were you connecting? I have a direct flight out of Dubai so are they saying it’s 5 days to get luggage?

The absolute WORST at trying to communicate anything, no one is complaining flights haven’t gone, it’s the fact we are left with NO LUGGAGE, NO HOTEL and up to a WEEK for another flight, all staff telling us to speak to a different person

@emirates Expecting us to wear the same clothes for 3+ days, go back to the airport every single day just to be told the same thing, those queues are taking 12+ hours, agree it’s not the staffs fault but emirates overall just need to send an email + inform what to do!

Everyone telling us to contact @emirates , there is no way to get through! Live chats are closed, phone lines closed, no responding to emails or messages, not even an email received to say our flight is cancelled, this process is starting to become inhumane

@EmiratesSupport (2/2) there is absolutely no communication from emirates, the airport staff are beyond overwhelmed with the amount of people trying to find out any kind of info and it’s far from acceptable!

@EmiratesSupport Can someone please tell me how to get my checked bags back!!! My flight was cancelled I’m now waiting 4 days for another flight and being told it’ll be a 10 hour+ wait to get my bags back through to arrivals! I was in that airport 22 hours up until tonight (1/2)

Emirates is extending the suspension of check-in for passengers departing Dubai effective until 09:00am on 18 April, due to continued operational challenges caused by bad weather and road conditions. (1/7)
