Per McDonald's, it's 100% beef and only salt and pepper used.

Gave a talk for a bunch of college students today and one shared that you can order anything on the McDonald's menu a la carte, including quarter pounder burger patties. He orders 4 for 1 lb. of beef for ~$5. That's 880 calories, 64g fat, 72g protein, and 4g carbs. I'd personally prefer leaner beef, but that's a pretty epic eating for 5 bucks.

If there were a meaningful treatment for Alzheimer’s, or some pharmaceutical intervention that could help with late life memory loss, I would be all over it. But none exists.
