That's the direction I'm taking with Bmap.
Next up: real-world POIs inside the Bmap Editor.
Since every map is generated from a bounding box, Bmap already knows where the casino, police station, pharmacy, real estate agency, and other real-world locations are. Soon you'll be able to turn them into playable game assets with just a few clicks.
@PlayDaaa Please give option to change building mesh types, the current small building mesh doesn't go with what the building look like in urban areas. These are more of European classical building.
@bmapengine Hello,
I want to use Bmap for our surrounding buildings level in UE5. How can we mask a polygon shape in the exporeted map to cut out the main detailed version. We want to place it along with Cesium as well.
Also is it low poly? And can the materials be changed?
Please suggest.

I've received quite a few DMs asking why exports are limited on Bmap, so here's the simple reason:
Worlds this big aren't cheap to generate or run. Every map represents real compute.
For Bmap launch, I decided to cover all the infrastructure costs myself while I optimize the generation pipeline and build a strong community around the product.
That's why map generation is unlimited, but exports are limited to 3 every 10 days. I think that's still a pretty fair free tier.
A paid tier is coming soon with unlimited exports, priority queue, early access to Bmap Editor, and many more features. It will also help support the continued development of the project.
There will always be a free tier with unlimited generation and limited exports.
Here are the numbers just 32 hours after launch. The demand is real, and I believe it's only going to grow from here.
