Voter suppression is a way of life for Donald Trump and far right extremists on the Supreme Court. Republicans know they cannot win a free and fair election in November and so they are desperate to rig it. We will never let them succeed.

The Supreme Court just eviscerated the Voting Rights Act. Trump and Republicans are rigging the rules to suppress the right to vote. If that’s the game, Democratic states must fight back to protect our democracy.

Corpus Christi is already projecting mandatory 25% cuts by September for residents and hospitals, but they're still protecting the industrial heavy-hitters to avoid "wrecking the economy." At our city-owned grocery stores, staples like eggs and bread will actually be affordable. And we're going to do it the right way, without cutting workers' pay or dignity. Because in the wealthiest city in this country, buying groceries shouldn't be an unsolvable equation. It should be simple, fair, and within reach for everyone.

@Ilhan Those communities are in areas that have been controlled by democrats for quite some time. Maybe its tine to vote differently. The very definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.

We cannot build a just nation without directly confronting the inequities facing Black communities. As we celebrate African Heritage Day, let us recommit to equity, to justice, and to building a Minnesota where Black communities don’t just survive, but truly thrive.
