It was wonderful to welcome creative entrepreneurs from 🇰🇿🇰🇬🇺🇿 to #Tashkent this week to explore interdisciplinary creative cities as part of the lead up to @wcceid. Superbly facilitated by @amanaliev @mc_nastia with experts from 🇬🇧 and 🇬🇪, part of our @BritishCouncil arts work.

This June, the @royalacademy is hosting 'In the Eye of the Storm: Modernism in Ukraine, 1900–1930s,' the most comprehensive UK exhibition to date about modern art in Ukraine. The exhibition will bring together around 70 paintings and drawings including work by Alexander Archipenko, Sonia Delaunay, Alexandra Exter and Kazymyr Malevych. The exhibition opens on 29 June and ends on 13 October. This painting from the 1920s is by Kostiantyn Yeleva.
