This is spot on. "Integrate ongoing practice and review into the teaching of current grade-level content, instead of disrupting it." Trying to reteach all of last year in Sept-Oct never worked and isn't going to start working now.

I just finished making Depth of Knowledge (DOK) matrices for 3rd grade through Algebra 2!!! So many new @openmiddle problems to share! 8 columns of problems for each grade level! Now I gotta work on putting them on my website and putting answers on openmiddle.com.

My friend needed help with scaling a recipe for a party. I gave her a worksheet with 75 fraction mult and division problems to do first so she would be prepared to apply her knowledge to the recipe. She never calls me anymore. 🤷‍♀️
