People have been blowing up my inbox about this “once in a lifetime planetary alignment” I don’t really consider this a celestial event. The planets are always in alignment along the ecliptic plane, and usually share the same half of the sky. 4 of the planets are too low on the horizon to get good photos of them, so the only planet you’ll see past dusk is Jupiter. If you catch them early enough, you can spot Mercury, Venus, and Saturn low on the horizon, but it requires a very clear view of the western horizon. Neptune and Uranus are up there too, but you can’t see them with your naked eye. Why this is being hyped and not the totally awesome naked-eye event on Tuesday morning (total lunar eclipse) is wild to me. Sadly science news seems to only spread if it’s clickbait.

@NFLUKIRE first (and only) time to america we booked our amtrak in the wrong order going down the East coast but that then made the Jets game do-able. Loved the spectacle. Wife bought me @AtlantaFalcons jumper for christmas and been a fan ever since! So many late nights but love it!
