@SeanRussellBook Empathy is a real concept, in that it's moreso about experiencing their emotions from their POV rather than feeling bad for them, but no one knows that. They just say "empathy" because it sounds different than what they heard growing up.

I don't remember hearing the word "empathy" until maybe 6 years ago. Growing up, everyone just said "sympathy." Now empathy is universally used and nobody ever talks about sympathy. The craziest thing is that empathy is being used to mean exactly what sympathy meant in the 90's.

Churches should only have two services on the Lord's Day. A morning service and an evening service. Neither should be a repeat of the other, but both should be their own service that the whole congregation is to attend as they are able.
