correction: I was wrong. No one in the synagogue was killed. With literally hundreds of police cars responding and insane media coverage, I thought at least one Jewish person had fallen victim. But it turns out the hysteria was about Jewish feelings again. Folks in that synagogue were scared. The only people killed were Arabs, a Palestinian man and his entire family. We all know that doesn't count.

When there are terrorist attacks in the US by extremists I’d prefer that the same politicians and podcasters who egg them on with non stop inflammatory rhetoric and by endorsing Hamas rallies and who refuse to condemn phrases like “Globalize the intifada” and who blame everything on Jews don’t then try to act surprised or sympathetic when these attacks happen. It’s insulting and you’re not fooling anybody. I’d rather Mamdani be more like his wife who probably already smashed the like button a billion times and threw a party at Gracie Mansion. At least she owns it. Give me the straight forward hatred rather than the hypocrisy.

The difference is everybody is poor under marxism and must rely on the rations which are never sufficient by contrast an extremely smaller % of the population are poor under capitalism hence need fewer interventions, even with meagre interventions mass starvation/famine is a rarity.
the solution is “hey can we have some reasonable interventions for the poor” not “let’s seize the means of production so everyone is now poor and must rely on rations”

This man complains that his daughter stays in her room all day and doesn’t enjoy talking to him and his wife. Whenever she does come down for food or water, he’s always reminding her that when she turns 18 either she can move out or pay rent.
I never understood why people do this as a scare tactic to teach kids responsible. Is it possible that his interactions like this is actually damaging his relationship with his daughter. Isn’t he giving her a vibe that he doesn’t want her around or is this a part of teaching her responsibility?
