In Expo SDK 56 you can drop-in replace 8 common UI packages with the single universal @expo/ui package.
Makes upgrading much easier in the future

Expo@expo
Expo SDK 56 is out 🙌 ◆ Expo UI is stable on iOS and Android ◆ iOS builds 16% faster, plus another 20% on EAS from precompiled community libs ◆ Android cold starts 40% faster ◆ Expo Router decoupled from React Navigation ◆ Inline native modules: write Swift and Kotlin right next to your TypeScript ◆ Hermes v1 by default ◆ Bytecode diffing on by default (~58% smaller OTA updates) ◆ iOS Widgets stable ◆ React Native 0.85 + React 19.2 It's been two months since SDK 55, and we packed in everything we could fit. SDK 56 is stable. Time to upgrade.
Last release was the first time we recommended the official Upgrade Skill and the results were staggering. So we're recommending it again.
We know a lot of you have complex apps that require a more hands on approach so we put together a full upgrade guide ↓

@caioedut you can disable them from profile -> settings already! But I doubt that they are the reason for draining the battery..

@schlimmson please add an option to disable haptics in tiny harvest, it is draining my phone battery more than 3d games and overheating it too much.

@swalker326 @biomejs I had issues too. Plug-in for Jetbrains IDE crashes every time, and biome.exe keep locking files on Windows, which I can’t move or rename files.
English

dear @biomejs
I've tried, so hard to use you. Time and time again you totally butcher my code with formatting. Break imports and throw false warnings. Normally I would say its not you its me, but really...its you. Work on yourself, you'll get there champ.

@prisma But upsert needs more attention. Unique index requirement is so bad.

I use flex and grid all the time, and I STILL occasionally mess up item alignment. 😑
So I built a tiny demo that finally makes `justify-*` vs `align-*` click.
If you've ever wondered which one to use (and when), this is for you 👇.

@caioedut Currently, we only support iOS and Android, but web support is a top priority on our roadmap, so we expect to add it soon 🙂

@Baconbrix do you know why the router is reset just by switching navigation type? It redirects to the initial route. I'm using native+web.

@heliotsx Pretendo utilizar mais vezes, por enquanto esse é meu feedback.

@heliotsx Achei os vídeos muito genéricos e curtos. Fiz uma descrição enorme e obtive um resultado mediano em 3 vídeos.
