Two things stick out:
1. The gains in seats are one thing, but the gains in vote are wild. Larger share of the popular vote than Harper’s majority in 2011 is giant.
2. The NDP lost 17 seats. The majority of those were lost to the Conservatives, including some strongholds.

I am curious to see what happens with the Conservatives in coming weeks. What a mixed outcome. Hard to ignore how much they advanced their gains, even though they lost. What they're selling isn't going anywhere. And it feels like it's Pierre Poilievre's party?

PC Leader @fordnation refuses to double ODSP/OW. Yet, he also cut employment programs for people with disabilities. Last year, he also defunded a 'peer worker' training program I co-facilitated for homeless people on OW.
Ford has abandoned disabled and homeless Ontarians.
