北極で調査中。ゼニガタアザラシは北海道でも見られる生息範囲の広いアザラシですが、近年の温暖化で北極域にまで進出しつつあります。こちらスバールバル諸島にもごろごろいて、愛らしい見た目とは裏腹に、他のアザラシをおらおらと駆逐している模様。

Check out this collaborative #shark work. With 1867m we recorded the deepest dive of a porbeagle. Covering latitudes from 30°N to 76°N they encountered temperature differences of 20°C. More collaborative efforts are needed to study and manage this transboundary species!
