Absolutely overwhelmed, humbled and incredibly proud to say that I have officially been duly elected as the Essex County Councillor for Rochford North. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single resident who put their faith and trust in me. I do not take this responsibility lightly and I promise to give this role absolutely everything I have. This was a true team effort. To every volunteer, supporter and friends who stood beside me, delivered leaflets, knocked doors, shared posts, manned polling stations, encouraged me and supported me through rain, shine and exhaustion thank you. We did this together. I also want to thank all of the electoral staff, counters, police officers and everyone involved in running the election process safely and professionally. Now the hard work really begins. I promised throughout this campaign that I would be visible, accessible and hardworking and that is exactly what I intend to be.
