Spencer Torkelson, with two on and two out, hit a ball 103 mph off the bat with a 28-degree launch and it didn't carry out. Caught at the wall in left center, 375 feet.
@Miggysbat Tork has been at least putting up better ABs the last few games or so. Seems like he could start to find it again. Riley has looked absolutely lost since July of last year and I genuinely am starting to wonder if he’ll find it again
@MurphDry Your argument is still in the favor of Jake Rogers which makes zero sense. Realmuto is also up there in age and Bailey is a middle of the pack catcher. You’re very bad at defending the team you’re supposed to be a “fan” of when they make decisions like this that cost them games
@caleb_lowden Realmuto & Patrick Bailey both led the league in games played last year when catching— 132 games. So, ~81 percent.
So, yeah, dingler nor any catcher will be plying 9 out of 10 games at the very least, unless they are DH’ing a significant chunk of them.
You’re very bad at this.
@MurphDry Lmao please go find me a catcher who by you logic is DHing a handful of those games. It’s not a knock on Dingler, it’s a knock on AJ and his questionable decision making
@caleb_lowden You’ve also made two completely false statements— that every catcher plays more than 70% of the time. Simply not true.
And that Dingler should be playing 9 out of every 10 games. There isn’t a primary catcher in baseball who does that without DH’ing a handful of those games.
@MurphDry@zbikowski_dan@MCB_johnverburg He’s played 7/10 games. He should be playing 9/10 at the very least. Jake Rogers doesn’t contribute offensively or defensively whatsoever so I’m just really confused what your argument is
@caleb_lowden@zbikowski_dan@MCB_johnverburg Kid what are you even saying? Dingler has and will continue to play ~75 percent of the time— as he should and has already this season. Today was simply a day off so he didn’t catch five games in a row. It’s a long season. Take a breather bud lmao.
@MurphDry@zbikowski_dan@MCB_johnverburg Every catcher in this league plays more than 70% of the time. Jake rogers is one of the worst hitting catchers in the league. Just say you don’t know shit and move on
@bigsullyt@tigers@WatchDSN@971theticketxyt@bet365_us I’d rather my gold glove, all star caliber catcher be playing more than 70% of the time instead of a guy who does absolutely nothing but to each his own I guess
