"Starter homes" simply do not exist in most major metropolitan areas nowadays, particularly Los Angeles. To fix it, we need to make it legal and easier to build denser housing, particularly condominiums. Young people deserve the opportunities their parents had.

People are sending 30 or 40 job applications a day. Three, four rounds of interviews. Still nothing. We are flirting with Great Depression level unemployment for young adults. But sure. Tell them to “just work harder.”

A guy I used to work with hit me up last night. Dude was making $260k in tech. Nice house, $4,700/month mortgage, two cars, vacations every few months. Got laid off 7 months ago. Still nothing. Said he’s down to $22k and burning $5,500 a month. Wife at home, one kid. He told me he checks his bank app before he even gets out of bed now. This is someone I saw winning in real life. Save your money. Because when it flips, it flips fast.
